Northwest’s premiere Latino arts
and culture organization, presents a
concert by Guadalupe Urbina. Urbina
is a renown Costa Rican singer and
songwriter whose work has gained
re c o g n itio n th ro u g h o u t L atin
America and Europe. The concert is
open to the general public and will
be held a the Miracle Theatre, 525
SE Stark on June 27 at 8 p.m. Ticket
price is $10. for information and
reservations call 236-7253.

A rteM ilagro, M iracle T h e a tre ’s
summer workshops and will be a
Community Artist in Residence at
the Portland International Perfor­
mance Festival. At Miracles’s Work­
shops she will be teaching Latin folk
Music and Storytelling for children.
ArteMilagro will consist o f various
workshops for children and adults
in theatre, dance and video. Classes
will start on June 16 and run through

Veteran actress Tonea Stewart,
who portrayed Samuel L. Jackson’s
wife in last sum m er’s blockbust­
ing motion picture, “ A Time To
Kill," is winning acclaim for her
new role.
She’s starring with Rachel Ward
in the upcom ing USA N etw ork
thriller, “My Stepson, My Lover"
which will air Wednesday, June 25th
