Minority Business: Where are our buffalo?

cial featured a broadly sm iling native
A m erican gesturing tow ard the w ide
picture w indow o f his expensively but
tastefully appointed office; T h e buffalo
are back”, he exclaimed as the cam era
panned across a never-ending vista o f
new homes, apartm ent com plexes, shops
and offices (m anufacturing w as in a
different zone).
A nd last w eek ’s com m ent on the
“Million Man M a rc h ’has produced quite
a bit ofdiscu&sion ("w here are the returns
on that big investm ent o f social capi­
tal?”) in fact, enough questions have
been raised to spark an updated exam i­
m anufacturers o f consum er goods to
advertise in their publications: "W e rep­
resent a captive, loyal market Try us.”
