Perhaps the most heart-w arm ing
aspect o f the film is the church. It
was u n til re ce ntly, a focal point
o f A m e rican culture. W ith each
church in te rio r scene, I could a l
most sm ell the warm sent o f var
nished seasoned m ahogany. This
film is rich w ith church culture
that is quite refreshing.
