BUILDING
THE FOUNDATION
Teamwork • Involvement • Commitment
The Port of Portland is working with minority
enterprises to develop sources which create
opportunities for DBE participation. We’re
working with the construction industry, the
professional services industry, material sup
ply companies, minority agencies, the Small
Business Administration, financial/bonding
organizations, other public agencies and pri
vate enterprises. We want to understand the
needs of the DBE community, and meet these
needs.
Call us for more information on how you
can be part of the Port team.

Partnership.
fi®
We know that the key to successful economic growth lies in forming community partnerships. That’s
what our Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Program is about.
Our MBE program encourages and expands the purchasing and contracting opportunities of minority
and women-owned businesses by introducing them to the appropriate buyers at U.S. Bank. It’s a pretty
basic principle. If we get something from the community, which we do, we should give something back.
That's why we’re proud of our MBE program and the successful partnerships we’ve formed. So, give us a
call and let’s talk about you. Because we all succeed by working together.
For more information about our M B E program,
please call L eA nne Brown at (503) 275-4583
