Invitation To Bid
The Oregon Lottery is seeking contractors to bid on the
installation, removal and repair of Lottery Service Center Signs
at retail locations throughout the State of Oregon. Only one
contractor will be selected.
The Lottery estimates that it will require approximately 300 new
installs, 50 removals and 50 repairs during the next 12 months.
While those installations, removals and repairs are scattered
throughout the state, the highest concentration of work will be
in the Portland Metropolitan Area, Salem and Eugene. Market
conditions preclude the Lottery form guaranteeing specific
numbers of installs, removals or repairs.
Oregon Lottery LSC signs are 1/8" thick extruded aluminum
cabinets, welded and power coated. They measure approxi
mately 30" x 30" and have removable plexiglass faces with
screen printed graphics. Lighting is provided by 2) 30" high
output, D/L fluorescent lamps. Power cords are not included
and will be furnished by the contractor,
Qualified contractors must possess and maintain a General
Electrical Contractor’s License commonly referred to as a
“Supervisor’s License” .
The successful bidder will be expected to sign an Installation
Agreement with the Lottery. Subletting of work will be prohib
ited.
All bidders will be subject to a security disclosure and back
ground investigation. All bids must be accompanied by com
pleted disclosure forms. If the Lottery discovers and omission
or error in the disclosure forms, the bidder will be notified and
a correction will be required within five (5) days. The Lottery
reserves the right to reject any and all bids and may rebid at a
future date if the Lottery determines that is in its’ best interest
to do so. The successful bidder may not be the lowest bid
submitted. Bid awards must be approved by the Lottery Com
mission and Lottery security. All bids and disclosure forms
must be received by 5:00 pm on October 16, 1996.
Interested contractors should contact Steve Blair at 503-540-
1341 for more information and a copy of the bid packet.
