Between assignments, the guys hang out at the Jupiter Too. the local solar system bar, where they bluff about their latest conquests with fel­ low adventuress Amma (Braxton) a female warrior whose more man than the two of them together. The owner of the bar is the fierce Vashti, who occasionally gives work to his brother-in-law Ty and Morris- -and who’d chew the guys up-liter- ally—if they messed up. As their mis-adventure unravels this season, the intergalactic duo will be having close encounters with the unkind denizens of their galaxy, such as record mogul Gordy Geffen Ber­ ry, stolen goods dealer Milky Ray and an insidious new computer who goes gigabyte to gigabyte against her rival, Loquatia. On Wednesday September 11 th Z100 Radio will be celebrating Last Chance Summer Dance at Tom McCall Waterfront Park and Epic recording artist Tina Arena will be on hand to perform music from her debut disc Don I Ask as part of the festivities. The ceremony is open to the public and takes place Thursday, August 22 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. in Cascade Hall on the Oregon State Fairgrounds. The competition will feature en­ tries from wineries throughout Ore­ gon. Area restaurants and caterers will offer a variety o f foods to ac­ company the wines. Hot or iced gour­ met coffee and other non alcoholic beverages also will be available. Tickets will be available at the door for $15, but will not include fair admission or parking. For minors, tickets are $8.00. In mid-August, a panel o f five judges will taste and evaluate all wine entries. W inning entries will receive a spe­ cial medallion, and the Oregon Wine­ growers Association will provide a plaque to each of the Best o f Show winners. Both professional and amateur award winning wines will be on dis­ play during the fair, August 22 through September 2.
