Oregon State University (OSU) is seeking qualified engineer­
ing firms to perform Energy Studies to identify energy conser­
vation projects for Weniger, Cordley, and Nash Halls on the
Oregon State University campus in Corvallis, Oregon. The
energy study methods and report presentation formats must
comply with the requirements of the Oregon Department of
Energy Institutional Conservation Program and Small Scale
Energy Loan Program, as well as the Pacific Power Energy
Finanswer program.

Sealed bids are requested for labor and materials to reno
vate rental units for the Housing Authority of Washington
County (HAWC). Bids will be received at the Department of
Housing Services (Housing Authority of Washington Coun­
ty) offices, 111 NE Lincoln St. #200-L, Hillsboro, Oregon
97124, until 2:00 p.m., on the 12th day of July 1996, shortly
thereafter, bids will be opened and publicly read. Interested

The basic work consists of cleaning and/or painting interiors
of 30 to 45 housing units annually. The Contract is for two

A Pre-Bid conference (Site Examination) will be held at
sample sites starting at 10:00 a.m. on July 19, 1996 (atten­

A certified check or bank draft, payable to Housing Authority
of Washington County, U.S. Government Bonds, or a satis­
factory bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable
sureties in an amount equal to 5 percent of the bid shall be
submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be
required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory performance
and payment bond in a penal sum of 100 percent of the
contract price.

The State of Washington, Department of Social and Health
Services (DSHS) is planning to issue a Request for Qualifica-
tions/Quotation (RFQ/Q) to secure Quality Assurance servic­
es to oversee the Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) services
project. The EBT project entails the design, development,
acceptance testing, implementation, and operation of an EBT
system for DSHS by a contracted EBT vendor. This system
will replace food stamps and cash warrants for eligible
agency clients with magnetic striped debit cards to be used at
Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) and Point-of-Sale (POS)
devices in certified retail grocers. Quality assurance activities
are expected to include review of agency plans, work sched­
ules, budgets, project infrastructure, contractor deliverables,
system interfaces, acceptance testing, policy issues, risk
management, and preparation of a post-implementation
project evaluation. The RFQ/Q will be issued on or around
Juhe21, 1996.
