Portland w ill host the 3rd Annual
Northwest Black Music Month Cel­
ebration, June 6-8, 1996. Sponsored
by UnForgettable Entertainment, the
three-day event w ill give radio, record
company executives, artists, music
retailers, concert promoters and club
owners and opportunity to meet and
network in the city o f roses. The
1996 Northwest Black Music Month

Mythmaker runs at the Interstate
Firehouse Cultural Center for two
weekends, June 13-23. Performanc­
es are at 8 p.m. on Thursdays. F ri­
days and Saturdays, with 2 p.m. mat­
inees on Saturday and Sundays. Res­
