The Economic Development Dept. of PDC is seeking an experienced
underwriter and business development professional who has hands
on experience working with neighborhood scaled businesses. Re­
sponsibilities include: program marketing, loan production, project
compliance, and community liaison for PDC in the area of business
financing and small business technical assistance, in targeted areas
of the City of Portland. Typical clients include small retail, service and
industrial businesses; business clients may be start-up firms.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or economics with four years
work experience in commercial finance/loan area and community
economic development. Previous experience in underwriting small
business, portfolio management and working with community lend­
ers, non-profit organizations, and community based groups.
