qualified consultants to prepare land use carrying capacity
and infrastructure studies of portions of the city. As a result of
the proposal process, the City determined the two study areas
referenced in the original Request for Proposal should be
combined. Accordingly, the City has extended the time for
responses to its original RFP and is advertising for qualified
consultants to prepare a single, larger study as described in
that RFP, which includes both the Central Beaverton and
Tektronix Light Rail Station areas.
All questions concerning the revised proposal or scope of
work should be directed to Alwin Turiel, Principal Planner,
telephone (503) 526-2675. F oracopy of the Proposal Instruc
tions and Scope of Work, please contract the Purchasing
Division, 4755 SW Griffith Drive, Suite 260, Beaverton OR

Seven (7) copies of the proposal must be submitted to Sharon
J. Woodhouse, Purchasing Agent, at the above address no
later than 4:00 P.M. on April 3, 1996.
It is the intent of the City to make a selection from all
proposals, taking into account any revised cost/scope esti
mates submitted by consultants previously proposing on the
original RFP. However, more information may be requested
if two or more proposals seem to be equally qualified.
