to attend the Boise-Eliot "Multicultural Fair Celebration o f People” on
Friday, March 8th, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Our celebration is now in its 15th
year, and we are expecting over 3,000 people.
I he Multicultural Fair showcases our multicultural curriculum and
provides an avenue to share with the community our staffs dedication and
methods to incorporate the essential learning skills into each child’s
school experience. There will be food and child-made cultural items for
sale. Children will be able to purchase “passports” which can fill with
stamps representing various countries/cultures as they tour each class­
room VV e encourage you to visit each individual classroom to observe the
development of our children in the area of academic achievement and
multicultural education.
This will be an excellent opportunity to acknowledge the culture and
heritage of various countries from throughout the world. The Fair is
culminating event involving participation Boise-Eliot students, family
members, staff and a host of community volunteers.

concert pianist of the 19th century
whose career spanned more than 60

Robert Schumann, she continued to

husband’s compositions, as well as
those of her close friend, Johannes
Brahms.
