BAD CREDIT? • • • • • • • • Suspect Sought In Four Serious Attacks Portland Police Bureau Robbery Detectives, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers, are asking for your help in identify ing and apprehending the sus­ pect or suspects responsible for seri­ ously assaulting and then robbing at least four senior citizens in the Down­ town Portland area, between Decem­ ber 19. 1995 and February 6, 1996. The victims to date have included three white males, ages 73, 77, and 8 1 years, and one white female, 74 years o f age The first two robberies occurred on SW Harrison Street. One on December 19, 1995 at approximate­ ly noon, in the 100 block. And the second on January I, 1996, at ap­ proximately 2:30 in the afternoon, in the 200 block. The third robbery occurred on January 24, 1996. at approximately 2:00 in the afternoon, in the 1000 block o f SW Broadway. The vehicle, a silver 1995 Mercury, 4-door sedan, was later recovered in the 200 block o f NW 2nd Avenue. In the third robbery, the victim observed a white male, 35-40 years ofage, with brown hair and a "rough" beard, in the vicinity just prior to being attacked and robbed. No other suspect description is available.
