King Dream Speech Presented In Text In celebration of the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the Met­ ropolitan Human Rights Commis­ sion will give a copy of the poster of Dr. King to anyone coming to the MHRC office at 1120 SW 5th, Room. 516, Portland. The poster contains the complete text of Dr. King’s famous “I Have A Dream” speech. The speech was given at the Lin­ coln Memorial on August 28, 1963 during the historic march On Wash­ ington and is most well-known and moving call for equality and justice. The poster, one of a series that includes other human rights advo­ cates such as Harvey Milk, Cesar Chavez and Abigail Scott Duniway, and the recently released Untied Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, normally sells for five dollars. Well over a thousand of the post­ ers have been distributed to schools, businesses and individuals.
