6 6 Love is the most durable power in the world. This
creative force, so beautifully exemplified in the life of our
Christ, is the most potent instrument available in'mankind’s
quest for peace and security. ’ ’
- Martin Luther King Jr.
66 We must use time creatively, in the knowledge that the
time is always ripe to do right. Now is the time to make real the
promise of democracy and transform our pending national
elegy into a creative psalm of brotherhood. Now is the time to
life our national policy from the quicksand of racial injustice
to the solid rock of humaii dignity. ’ ’
- Martin Luther King Jr.

6 6 Freedom has always been an ex
pensive thing. History is fit testimony
to the fact that freedom is rarely gained
without sacrifice and self-denia. ’ ’
- Martin Luther King Jr.
6 6 Our hope for creative living in
this world house that we have inherited
lies in our ability to reestablish the
moral end of our lives in personal
character and social justice. Without
this spiritual and moral reawakening
we shall destroy ourselves in the mis
use of our own instruments. ’ 5
- Martin Luther King Jr.
6 6 When I speak of love I am not
speaking of some sentimental and week
response. I am speaking of that force
which all of the great religions have
seen as the supreme unifying principle
of life. Love is somehow the key ¿ a t
unlocks the door which leads to ulti
mate reality. ’ ’
