Internment was at Rose City Cemetery in Portland. She was born Dec. 25, 1910 in Montgomery, Ala. and moved to Portland in 1931. Her maiden name was Gail. She married Jimmy Lewis. Mr. Lewis preceded her in death. Her occupation included domestic work and tutoring before retiring in 1975. Survivors include a daughter, Mattie Alexander of Portland, two sons, Doc Gray o f Portland and Hubbard Gray of Brooklyn, N .Y., 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
