Man Shot In Laurelhurst Neighborhood A Iuesday, Nov. 14 shooting killed a 24-year-old northeast Port­ land man. The incident occurred about 8:45 p.m. Neighbors said they heard several shots and Portland Police, upon investigating, found Brian T. Mitchell on the ground next to his car. Mitchell had suffered gunshot wound to the head and leg. He was transported to Emanuel Hospital and died the next morning. Apparently, Mitchell had just parked his vehicle across the street from his residence when the shooting occurred in the 4300 block o f North­ e ast H a z e lfe rn Place in the Laurelhurst neighborhood.
