Sealed bids will be received by the City of Camas, Office of the
Finance Department, 616 NE 4th Avenue, Camas, W ashing­
ton, until 10:00 A M ., on September 11,1995 and will then and
there be publicly read for the construction of the improvement.
All bid proposals shall be accom panied by a bid proposal
I deposit in cash, certified check, cashier’s check, or surety
bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of
such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter
into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond
within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal
deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Camas.
Maps, plans, and specifications may be obtained from the

Works Department upon payment of the amount of $25.00,
which is non-refundable.
Informational copies of maps, plans, and specifications are on
file for inspection in the Public W orks Department, Camas,
Washington.

water main, copper water services, park play structure, trails,
irrigation, landscaping, planting and other related items.

Invitation To Bid
Sealed proposals for construction of the Barney Well House
and appurtenances will be received at City Hall, 400 Eas
Third Street, Prineville, Oregon 97754, until 10:00, local time,
August 25, at which time the bids will be publicly opened anc
read. Bids shall be titled: Bid: City of Prineville, Barney Wei
House.
The work contemplated consists of: 1. Construction of a
concrete masonry until building (12-feet by 30 feet). 2. Instal­
lation of plumbing and piping to connect the Barney Well to
City Prineville’s transmission line. 3. Connection to power and
telephone utilities. 4. Installation of a gas chlorination system.
5. Installation of a submersible pump (100 hp, 700 gpm),
pump controls and all appurtenances.
The contract time will be limited to 60 calendar days, with
liquidated damages of $450.00 per day should the Contractor
fail to complete the work within the time allowed.
Contract documents may be examined at the City of Prineville,
400 East Third Street, Prineville, Oregon; at Central Oregon
Builder's Exchange, 707 NW Hill Street, Bend, Oregon; or at
David Evans and Associates, Inc., 709 N. W. Wall Street,

The attention of Bidders is directed to the State overtime
requirements and conditions of employment to be observed.
The applicable State prevailing wage rate and provisions are
included in the Contract Documents. Current State prevailing
wage rates will be supplied to all potential bidders of record at

Each proposal must be submitted on the prescribed form and
accompanied by a certified check or bid bond executed on the

residential plans for conformance with fire and life safety and
the structural provision of the State Structural Specialty Code,
Mechanical Specialty Code, and One and Two Family Dwell­
