Felony Hit And Run Accident
The Portland Police bureau
Traffic Division, in cooperation with
Crime Stoppers, is asking for your
help in solving a felony hit and run
accident.
On Monday, A p ril 10, 1995, at
2:30 in the afternoon, at NE 26th
Avenue and NE Clackamas Street,
34-year-old Marc J. Boyum, o f
Southeast Portland, was riding his
bicycle when he was struck and
seriously injured by a vehicle.
According to witnesses, Boyum
was eastbound on Clackamas Street,
when he was struck by a black over
gray, 1989 Chevrolet Suburban,
with Washington plates, that was
northbound on 26th Avenue.
The force o f the impact hurled
Boyum’s bicycle approximately 30
feet through the air.

The driver is described as an
adult black male, with short hair,
dark pants, and a light colored shirt,
he was last seen running southbound
on 25th Avenue from Weidler.
According to investigators, the
Chevrolet Suburban had been stolen
from an address on N Hancock Street
on Sunday, A p ril 9, 1995. between
