inspection and be on hand to answer questions between
12:00 and 1:30 on March 2, 1995.
The demolition is being done to clear right of way for road

port Park" or its equivalent. The bids will be publicly
opened and read at 10:15 a.m., on W ednesday, March
22, 1995, in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room, Room
308 of the Columbia County Courthouse in St. Helens,
Oregon. (All times according to courthouse clocks).
No bid will be received or considered by the County
unless the bid contains a statement by the bidder that the
provisions of ORS 279.350 (prevailing rate of wage law)
will be complied with.
Each bid must contain a statement as to whether the
bidder is a resident bidder asdefined in ORS 279.279,029.
Bidders need not be licensed under ORS 468A.720
(asbestos contractor).
6. No bid for a construction contract shall be received or
considered by the County unless the bidder is registered
with the Construction Contractors Board of licensed by
the State Landscape Contractors Board as required
ORS 671.530.

8. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a

procedures and requirements, and may reject fort good

The City of Portland Bureau of Water Works requests pro­
posals from qualified consultant firms with demonstrated
experience in space planning design for preparation of a five
year Bureau-wide space planning and implementation plan.
A complete description of the project, specific requirements
and evaluation criteria for the proposal may be obtained from
the Bureau of Purchases, Room 1313,1120 S.W. Fifth Ave.,

Proposals shall be reviewed by a consultant selection com­

Consultants shall be required to conform to the City MBE/

City of Portland is committed to increasing contracting,
