Design of Seism ic Retrofit

The City of Portland, Bureau of Transportation Engineering
& Development is seeking the services of a qualified consult­
ant to design the seismic retrofit for the N. Going St. Overpass
of the Union Pacific Railroad and prepare plans and specifi­
cations and estimates for construction. The project requires
a geotechnical investigation to evaluate the site and provide
a site specific seismic response spectrum. Detailed require­
ments for the project are listed in the Scope of W ork section
of the Request for Proposal dated January, 1995, copies of
which are available free of charge from: City of Portland,
Bureau of Transportation Engineering, 1120 SW 5th Ave.
Room 819, Portland OR 97204-1971, Attn: Steven L. Barrett,
(503) 823-7059. Four (4) copies of the proposal must be
