The City of Portland, Bureau of Transportation Engineering
& Development is seeking the services of a qualified consult
ant to design the seismic retrofit for the N. Going St. Overpass
of the Union Pacific Railroad and prepare plans and specifi
cations and estimates for construction. The project requires
a geotechnical investigation to evaluate the site and provide
a site specific seismic response spectrum. Detailed require
ments for the project are listed in the Scope of W ork section
of the Request for Proposal dated January, 1995, copies of
