Vessels opens on MLK Jr. Blvd.
Vessels features vibrant dinnerware patterns designed by Black-
owned companies including Cross Colours Home, Ethnicware,
African Home and Carter-Runnels Design. Vessels offers Bridal
Registry, and Afro-centric wedding invitations and gift wrap.
Vessels owner Phyliss Gaines and store manager Athena Hampton
greet friends and guests at a preview party held for the new store
on Friday, September 23. Vessels, “Tableware With Meaning,"
specializes in Afro-centric dinnerware, glassware, flatware and
decorative accessories for the dining room, bath and kitchen.
Located at 2605 NE MLK Jr. Boulevard corner of NE Russell,
Vessels officially opened the following day.
