way, install a door-in-the-w all w ith a
pocket door fram e kit.
A standard sw inging door takes 8-
10 sq uare feet in its o p en in g arc.
Although you have to give up about
h a lf o f th a t sp a ce to allo w c le a r
passage through the doorway, you can
free up the rest o f that space w ith a
pocket door.
You can install a pocket door in any

the door for painting or staining after
