The im provem ent for which bids will be received follows:
Bid opening on Tuesday, Septem ber 13,1994 at 2:00 P.M.
The project includes design, and developm ent of construc­
tion plans and specifications for the electrical portion of the
reuse water facility. The successful firm or individual will work
with City staff to com plete the design for this facility as a
whole.
Proposals shall be reviewed by a consultant selection com ­
mittee in accordance with Chapter 5.68 of the City Code.
Interviews may be held with the highest rated firms or
individuals.
The City encourages m inority and women owned firms to
respond.
A com plete description of the request for proposal process,
scope of work, form and content for the proposal, and
evaluation criteria for the proposal may be obtained from Vu

This project is partially financed through the W ashington
State Interagency Comm ittee for Outdoor Recreation.
Request For Proposal
School and Public Assembly Program
for
The City of Portland Bureau of Environm ental Services is
requesting proposals for the refinem ent and implem entation
of an educational assem bly program entitled Paddlewheel
of Fortune, which was created to support the C ity’s Clean
Rivers Educational Program. The assem bly program is
targeting 30 Portland elem entary schools and four special
event public perform ances in the 1994/95 school year. The
contract period is Septem ber 1994 through June 1995.
This project is financed through the Com m unity Develop­
ment Block Grant Program with funds obtained from the U.S.
Departm ent of Housing and Urban Development. The con­
tract will be subject to regulations of the Departm ents of
Labor and Housing and Urban Development. Attention is
called to Federal provisions for Equal Employment O pportu­
nity, HUD Section 3 requirements, and the minimum wages
as set forth in the contract documents.
Q uotations and Applications will be received up to the hour
of 4:00 PM, Friday, September 16, 1994, at which time the
quotes will be read aloud. Quotation and application forms
may be obtained from and returned to Clark Public Utilities,
Purchasing Department, PO Box 8900, Vancouver, WA
98668 (or hand or courier delivered to: 8600 NE 117th

All bid proposals shall be accom panied by a bid proposal
deposit in cash, certified check, cashier’s check, or surety
bond in an am ount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount
of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter
into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond
within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal
deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Camas.
The City of Camas reserves the right to reject any or all
proposals if found to be higher than the estim ated cost and to
waive any form ality or technicality in any proposal in the
interest of the City.
The Portland Bureau of Fire, Rescue and Em ergency Ser­
vices announces a Request for Proposals to perform a
com prehensive fire station location study, for the cities of
Portland, Gresham, and Milwaukie.
Notice is hereby given that Clark Public Utilities is requesting
quotations form contractors to provide labor, m aterials and
equipm ent to install an 8 inch water main in Amboy, W ash­
ington for approxim ately 3,500 feet (Phase 5). The work will
be processed under the Utilities’ Small W orks Roster proce­
dure for public works projects under One Hundred Thousand
Dollars ($100,000) strictly in accordance with Quotation

The Polk County Housing Authority (PCHA), will receive
sealed bids for Refrigerators and Electric Ranges until 3:30
p.m. Standard Time on W ednesday, the 31 s t day o f A u g u st,
1994, at 204 S.W. W alnut, Dallas, Oregon 97338, at which
time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
This indefinite quantity type contract will be to provide refrig­
erators and electric ranges to PCHA for a period of one year.
A minimum of 200 twenty-inch ranges, 20 thirty-inch ranges,
