Sealed bids will be received by the City of Camas, Office of
the Finance Department, 616 NE 4th Avenue, Camas, W ash­
ington, until 2:00 P.M., on September 13,1994 and will then
and there be publicly read for the construction of the im prove­
ment.
All bid proposals shall be accom panied by a bid proposal
deposit in cash, certified check, cashier’s check, or surety
bond in an am ount equal to five percent (5%) of the am ount
of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidderfail to enter
into such contract and furnish satisfactory perform ance bond
within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal
deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Camas.
Maps, plans, and specifications may be obtained for the
Public W orks Departm ent upon payment of the amount of
$25.00, which is non-refundable.

Site & Dwelling Improvements
Project No. M3-0401
Bidding has been extended until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, Sep­
tem ber 1, 1994 for site and dwelling improvements at an
existing 180 unit apartm ent project.
The basic work consists of site lighting, walkways, re-roofing,
exterior wall re-finishing, interior re-flooring, interior ceiling
work, GFI installation at units, mechanical systems renova­
tion and replacem ent of interior lighting. Also included is a
three story concrete m asonry entry addition with composite
metal panel cladding and metal roofing.
Interested bidders may obtain one set of bid docum ents at the

upon receipt of $50 (fifty) deposit, which is refundable when
docum ents are returned in good condition within 10 days after

AeroWest Fuel System Upgrade
Sealed bids for the Portland Troutdale Airport, Aerowest Fuel
System Upgrade, will be received at the office of the Manager,
Contracts and Procurement, of The Port of Portland, 700 N . E.
Multnomah Street, 15th floor, Portland, Oregon, (503) 731 -
7590 (mailing address: Post Office Box 3529, Portland,
Oregon, 97208) until, but not after, 10:30 a.m. August 29,
1994, and thereafter publicly opened and read.
Description of Work:
Remove and dispose of two steel underground storage
tanks (USTs), install a fiberglass fuel tank and associated
equipment, and add cathodic protection to an existing
steel tank. On both the fiberglass tank and the steel tank,
install automatic tank gaging systems, install dispensing
systems with m eter readouts, and provide overfill protec­
tion. Install a 16-user key-lock system on the fiberglass
tank.
A prebid conference will be held at AeroW est, Portland
Troutdale Airport, at 10:30 a.m. on W ednesday, August 24,
1994, to discuss all phases of the work.

Bids must be on the bid form which will be provided to
prospective bidders and must be accom panied by a certified
or cashier’s check drawn on a United States bank or a bid
bond payable to The Port of Portland in an amount equal to
at least 10 percent of the total am ount bid.
Prequalification is not required for this work.
The drawings and the contract manual may be exam ined at
Port offices. Copes may be obtained by prospective bidders
at no cost from Contracts and Procurem ent (address above).
No bid will be received or considered unless it contains a
statem ent by the bidder as a part of the bid that the provisions
of ORS 279.350 (regarding prevailing wage rates) are to be
complied with.
No bid will be received or considered unless the bidder is
registered with the State of Oregon Construction Contractors
Board, pursuant to ORS 701.055 (1) prior to subm itting a bid.

A license for asbestos work under ORS 468A.720 is not
required for this work.
Bidders are required to state whether or not the bidder is a

uncollectible by the Bureau. W ork will be provided in a
professional, courteous manner. Collection efforts may in­

Invitation For Bids
The Polk County Housing Authority (PCHA), will receive
sealed bids for Refrigerators and Electric Ranges until 3:30
p.m. Standard Time on W ednesday, the 31 s t day o f A u g u st,
1994, at 204 S.W. W alnut, Dallas, Oregon 97338, at which
time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
This indefinite quantity type contract will be to provide refrig­
erators and electric ranges to PCHA for a period of one year.
A minimum of 200 twenty-inch ranges, 20 thirty-inch ranges,
80 twelve-cubic foot refrigerators and 20 fourteen-cubic foot
refrigerators will be purchased under this contract.
