The music bandstand at Peninsula
Park’s will be the site of a concert Sunday
from 5 pm . to 6:30 p.m. by the Cultural
Recreation Band. Band members have
received formal instruction in piano, mu
sic theory, band instrumentsandensembles
by teachers who are musicians from both
classical and jazz backgrounds.
The program also places value on
individual and group self esteem, disci
pline and motivation.
