V ancouver’s newly formed In­
ternational A ffairs Com m ission has
branched into six specialized groups
to address how the city can best relate
on a global scale.
The nine-m em ber com m ission
was appointed by Mayor Bruce E.
Hagensen on May 2 to serve in an
advisory capacity to City council on
international activities and events.

The goal o f the program is to encour­
age international activities in the com ­
munity and expand education ben­
efits by encouraging citizen partici­
pation.

His business experience includes 12
years as marketing manager for Proc­
tor and Gamble and three years as
director o f marketing and communica­
tions at the United W ay of Cleveland.
