Description of Work:
Furnish one 1000KW em ergency generator, ancillary hard­
ware, drawings, and service m anuals. Furnish specified
hardware to retrofit two existing generators (G1 & G2) to
allow for paralleling all generators. Furnish medium voltage
em ergency switchgear and generator control gear, draw ­
ings and manuals. Drawings are included with this docu­
ment for reference only and shall not be intended to be used
for construction. Dimensions indicated are required to be
met by the proposed system.

The Portland Development Commission is requesting state­
ments of qualifications from prime contractors for:
W alnut Park Retail Center, Tenant Improvem ents
and Allowances
until 3:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time (PST) on August 15,
1994, at its offices located at 1120 S.W. Fifth Avenue, Suite
1100, Portland, Oregon 97204-1968. The project consists of
20,000 square feet of retail space constructed around an
existing police precinct station located at N.E. Killingsworth
and N.E. Martin Luther King Boulevard. The retail shell has
been constructed under previous contracts. The scope of the
tenant im provem ents and allowances will consist generally of
interior ceilings; finishes, bathroom fixtures and connections;
branch ductwork and diffusers; light fixtures, power outlets,
and cabling; fire alarm and smoke detector systems; exterior
signage; cabinetry; rough and finish carpentry; doors and
hardw are;glazing;floortile; and other finish work as called for
in the contract docum ents in order to prepare individual
tenant spaces for occupancy. There are a total of nine
tenants spaces in the W alnut Park Retail Center. Requests
for the Comm ission docum ents related to this request for
statements of qualifications should be forwarded to Carole
