The region’s strongest men and women will battle biceps at The Refec­ tory (1618 NE 122nd SL, Portland) for pride, glory, charity and a chance to qualify for the Y ukon Jack W orld Arm W restling Championsh ips in San Fran­ cisco, CA on August 26,1994. The Portland regional cham pi­ onship, which is part o f the 26-city Y ukon Jack W orld C ham pionship series, is open to everyone 21 years o f age and older and will benefit the O regon Chapter of the National M ul­ tiple Sclerosis Society. Each $5 entry fee, for which com petitors receive an official t-shirt, will be donated to MS. Y ukon Jack will m ake a m atching donation o f all entry fees. The double elim ination tourna­ ment, which gets underw ay at 8:30 p.m . sharp (with registration begin­ ning at 7:00 p.m .), is supervised by the Am erican Arm W restling A sso­ ciation and features four separate di­ visions. There will be three m en’s w eight classes — 160 lbs and under, 161 -1 9 0 , and 191 lbs and over - and one w om en’s open division.
