A recent seismic study indicates the structure does not meet the lateral force requirements of the Dangerous Building Code (PCC 24.15.060). Police program needs for this building are changing with the opening of the new North East Precinct in June. The consultant should be able to w ork with the site to determine actual requirements, identify permits, prepare speci­ fications, prepare cost estim ates, and assist in the project to endure compliance with regulations. The consultant would also be qualified to coordinate any construction and site im provem ents.
