A recent seism ic study indicates the structure does not m eet the lateral force requirements of the Dangerous Building Code (PCC 24.15.060). Police program needs for this building are changing with the opening of the new North East Precinct in June. The consultant should be able to w ork with the site to determine actual requirements, identify permits, prepare speci­ fications, prepare cost estimates, and assist in the project to endure com pliance with regulations.
