Announcing their commitment

Kristine M. Gebbie, and signed a
DecLarationofWartofightHIV/AIDS.
“The response is remarkable,

AIDS is taking a toll in the Afri
can American community. In less
than a decade AIDS has quickly be
come the second leading cause of
death among Africa American men
and women between 25-36. It is esti
mated that in 1994 one African Ameri
can per hour will die of AIDS in the
United States.
Highlighting this year’s effort is
“Gospel Cares” a concert organized
by Nashville CARES and Broadway
CARES/Equity Fights AIDS.
