Blues Festival on Saturday, March
26, 6:30 pm - 1 am at the Texas 11
Restaurant and Lounge, 1708 NE
Alberta.
This years event “ The Boogie
Cat & The Rose C ity A ll-S tars” w ill
feature the popular Norman Sylvester
Band starring 1992 M uddy Aw ard
W inning saxophonist Patrick Lamb.
Also stated is the Jim M csi Band
featuring Steve Bradley on guitar and
1993 M uddy Aw ard w inning vocalist
L ily W ilde. Special guest artists in ­
clude K ita M ontgom ery, Julianne
Johnson, plus a line up o f Portland's
best blues artists.
O p e n in g the s h o w w i l l be
L e n a n n e S y lv e s te r and Janice
Scroggins presenting a tribute to
B illie H ollida y. For the fifth straight
year, the master o f ceremonies fo r the
year w ill be Paul Knauls, form erowner
o f the C otton C lub and Geneva's.
Joining the featured performers
w ill be an impressive lis t o f some o f
Portland's best blues artists taking
time o ff from their busy schedules to
perform at the benefit. Invited guests
include Ralph Black, Paulette Davis,
M el Solomon, Linda Madison, Johnny
W ard and R ico Lopez.

$10.00 at the door and may be p u r­
