Sealed bids will be received by Eastern Oregon State
College in Room 114, Inlow Hall, La Grande, Oregon, until 2
p.m. PDT February 3, 1994 for the Hoke Hall renovation
project located on the campus of Eastern Oregon State
College. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud on
February 4 ,1 9 9 4 at 2 pm in Inlow Hall by the undersigned or
his designated representative.
The project includes selective demolition to the interior,
upgrade of the mechanical and electrical systems, exterior
and interior renovation, and building addition.
A m andatory examination for general contractors of the site
and conditions will be made at 1:30 p.m. January 13,1994,
with ow ner’s representative beginning in Room 201, Hoke
Hall, EOSC.
Bid documents: Bidders may obtain copies of contract docu­
ments after December 27, 1993, from the office of the
architect, upon on deposit of $150 for each complete set.
Contract documents issued on deposit will be limited to two
sets for general contractors and one set for subcontractors.
No partial sets will be issued. Any bidder upon returning, in
good condition,those sets issued on deposit within 10 days
of the bid opening date, will be refunded the deposit in full.
Contract documents may be examined at the Dean of
Adm inistration’s office, Room 114, Inlow Hall, EOSC, as well
as at the following locations: Daily Journal of Commerce Plan
Center, Portland; Eugene Builders Exchange Corporation,
Eugene; Salem Contractors Exchange, Salem; Construction
Data Plan Center, Portland; Construction Data East Side
Plan Center, Portland; Blue Mountain Plan Center, Boise,
Idaho; La Grande Cham ber Commerce Plan Center, La
Grande; Pendleton Chamber of Commerce Plan Center,
Pendleton; and Dodge Scan, Seattle, Wash.
All bidders must be registered with the Construction
Contractor’s Board.
Bidders shall submit evidence of Affirmative Action compli­
ance per Division SB.

All bidders must comply with the requirements of the prevail­
ing wage law in ORS 279.350.

Sealed bids will be received at the Housing Authority of
Portland (HAP), 8910 N. W oolsey Avenue, Portland, Oregon,
97203, until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 20. 1994..for labor
and materials to make piping repairs at an existing apartment
project. Shortly thereafter, bids will be opened and publicly
read. Interested parties are welcome to attend.
The basic work consists of demolition and removal of existing
dom estic water piping and gas water heaters at Holgate
-louse Apartments, 4601 S.E. 39th, Portland, Oregon,
