present “ Fashion Focus: F a ll ’ 93 a
fashion show to benefit the N a tio n al
L e a d e rs h ip In itia tiv e o n C a n ce r
(N B L IC ). The show, co-hosted by
D u p o nt Lycra, w ill take place O cto ­
ber 6, 1993 at the D o w n to w n M e ie r
& Frank in Portland.
The Blazers W ives A ssociation
w ill be jo in e d by local models sport­
in g M e ie r & F ranks’ p re m ie r fa ll and
holiday fashions. W ives associations
throughout the N B A are w o rk in g to ­
gether on a program to prom ote breast
cancer detection and treatment. “ N B A
W ives Save L iv e s ” is the slogan
adopted by the N a tio n al Cancer In s ti­
tute fo r the co a litio n representing each
to our partnership w ith M eier & Frank
this event w ill help us spread the w ord

cancer. I t ’ s the most frequently dia g ­
nosed fo rm o f cancer in w omen and a
