Improvements
Project No. 7057

Sealed Proposals will be received by the Parks and Recre­
ation Division, Department of Environmental Service, City
of Gresham, 1550 N.W. Eastman Parkway, Suite 175,
Gresham, Oregon 97030-3830, until June 30, 1993, at
11:00 a.m. PDT, at which time they will be opened, for the
construction of Kirk, North Gresham and Hollybrook Parks
within the Gresham City limits; Project No.’s 7026, 7028,
7025. Proposals will be opened, and publicly read aloud
immediately following the time stated above at the office of
the Parks & Recreation Division.
The work to be performed consists of, but is not limited to the
construction of 3 neighborhood parks. The major work items
aro as follows:
Demolition, Clearing and Grubbing, Earthwork, Drain­
age Utilities, Electrical Conduits, Water Lines, Bollards,
Asphaltic Concrete Surface, Concrete Surface, Chain
Link Fencing and Gate, Irrigation, Planting and Seed­
ing, Play Equipment, and Site Furnishings.
Contractor for this work shall furnish all labor, materials,
equipment and services to complete the project in accor­
dance with the plans and specifications. All Bidders must
comply with the requirements of the prevailing wage rate
laws in ORS 279.350.
Plans and specifications may be examined at the office of
the Parks & Recreation Division, Department of Environ-
mental Services, City of Gresham, 1550 N. W. Eastman
Parkway, Suite 175, Gresham, Oregon 97030-3830. Cop­
ies of the plans and specifications may be obtained upon
payment of a non-refundable fee of $25.00 for each set
requested.
Questions regarding this project should be directed to Lora
Price, Park Planner, (503) 669-2659. Protests will not be
considered unless detailed in official correspondence to the
Department of environmental Services Director and re­
ceived prior to the bid opening date.
Contractors for asphaltic concrete paving, and water and
storm drainage line work must prequalify for street, water
and storm drainage construction with the City of Gresham,
as required by the laws of the State of Oregon, before the
date of the bid opening. Otherwise, their proposal may not
be given consideration. The City of Gresham Contractors'
Prequalification application forms may be obtained from
City offices. Landscape subcontractors must have a current
Oregon Landscaping Business License, as required by the
Oregon Landscape contractors Board.
All bids must be submitted on the regular forms furnished by
the City of Gresham, addressed and mailed or delivered to
the office of the Parks & Recreation Division, Department of
Environmental Services, City of Gresham, 1550 N. W.
Eastman Parkway, Suite 175, Gresham, Oregon 97030-
3830, in a sealed envelope plainly marked: “Sealed Bid For
Construction Of Kirk Park, North Gresham Park, And
Hollybrook Park, Project No.'s 7026, 7028, 7025; and
bearing the name and address of the bidder. Each bid must
be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid
bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the
total bid. A performance and payment corporate surety
bond in the full amount of the contract shall be required to
guarantee faithful performance of the terms of the contract
at the time of contract execution.
Sealed Proposals will be received by the Parks and Recre­
ation Division, Department of Environmental Services, City
of Gresham, 1550 N. W. Eastman Parkway, Suite 175,
Gresham, Oregon 97030-3830, until July 1, 1993, at 11:00
a.m. PDT, at which time they will be opened, for construction
and improvements of Binford Lake/Butler Creek Greenway
within the Gresham City limits; Project No. 7057. Proposals

ing, Grass Seeding, Boardwalk and miscellaneous Site

Prequalification applications or statements must be pre­
pared during the period of one year prior to the bid date.
Prequalification application and proof of prequalifcation by
the Oregon Department of Transportation must be actually
received or postmarked to Multnomah County Purchasing
by not later than 10 days to bid opening.
All bidders must comply with the requirements of the
prevailing wage law is ORS 279.350.

Contractors and subcontractors must be licensed for as­
bestos abatement work if the project involves working with

equal to ten percent (10%) of the aggregate proposal. The
successful bidder shall furnish a bond satisfactory to the
board in the full amount of the contract.
