is seeking and soliciting quotes from all
qualified and certified DBE subcontractors
and suppliers for the:
The Vancouver Housing Authority will receive bids for the
project to SITEWORK AT FRUIT VALLEY & STAPLETON
ROAD SITES until 2:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on the
8th day of June, 1993, at Vancouver Housing Authority,
500 Omaha Way, Vancouver, Washington 98661 at which
time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read
aloud.
Proposed forms of contract documents, including plans
and specifications, are on file at the office of Vancouver
Housing Authority at 500 Omaha Way, Vancouver, Wash­
ington 98661 and at the office of Construction Data-
Eastside, Portland; Construction Data-Westside, Port­
land; Daily Journal of Commerce, Portland, S.W. Wash­
ington Contractors Association, Vancouver; and Dodge/
Scan, Seattle.
Copies of the documents may be obtained by depositing
One hundred dollars ($100) with the Vancouver Housing
Authority for each set of documents so obtained. Such
deposit will be refunded for each person who returns the
plans, specifications and other documents in good condi­
tion within 10 days after bid opening.
A certified check or bank draft, payable to Vancouver
Housing Authority, U.S. government bonds, or a satisfac­
tory bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable
sureties in an amount equal to five percent of the bid shall
be submitted with each bid, or separate performance and
payment bonds, each for 50 percent or more of the
contract price, or a 20 percent cash escrow, or a 25
percent irrevocable letter of credit.
The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay
for satisfactory performance and payment bonds.
Attention is called to the provisions for equal employment
opportunity, and payment of not less than the minimum
salaries and wages as set forth in the specifications must
be paid on this project.
As permitted by state law and required by the U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development.

For Qualifications (RFQ) for a project coordinator for admin­
istration of the alzheimer’s grant and related programs.
The intent of this RFQ is to obtain the services of a qualified
project coordinator with experience writing federal grant
requests and who is active in the alzheimer's community.

Sealed bids will be received by Eastern Oregon State
College in Room 114, Inlow Hall, La Grande, Oregon, until
2 p.m. PDT June 17, 1993, for the Hoke Hall renovation
project located on the campus of Eastern Oregon State
College. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud on
June 18, 1993, at 2 p.m. PDT in Inlow Hall by the under­
signed or his designated representative.
The project includes selective demolition to the interior,
upgrade of the mechanical and electrical systems, exterior
and interior renovation, and building addition.
A mandatory examination for general contractors of the site
and conditions will be made at 1:30 p.m. June 1,1993, with
owner’s representative beginning in Room 202, Hoke Hall,
EOSC.
Bid documents: Bidders may obtain copies of contract
documents after May 18, 1993, from the office of the
architect, upon deposit of $150 for each complete set.
Contract documents issued on deposit will be limited to two
sets for general contractors and one set for subcontractors.
No partial sets will be issued. Any bidder upon returning, in
good condition, those sets issued on deposit within 10 days
of the bid opening date, will be refunded the deposit in full.
Contract documents may be examined at the Dean of
Administration’s office, Room 114, Inlow Hall, EOSC, as
well as at the following locations: Daily Journal of Commerce
