Portland Community Reinvestment Initiatives Inc. (PCRI),
a nonprofit community development corporation, is re­
questing general contractors to submit bids for m ajor
renovations of three single family homes in NE Portland.
Project specifications and contractor qualification forms
are available at PCRI offices 2045 NE Martin Luther King
Blvd. (288-2923) from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM Monday thru
Friday. The properties will be accessible by lock box. The
combination will be given to those requesting specification
packages only.

_eadbetter Road, Storm Water Quality Facility, will be re­

Description of Work:
Construction of a spill containment berm, a water quality
swale and detention pond, an earthen embankment, a
concrete control manhole, and approximately 230 feet of
storm sewer pipes to a new outfall.
A prebid conference will be held on Thursday, May 6,
1993, at 2 p.m. in the Terminal 6 Administration Building
to discuss all phases of the work.

The Port of Portland is committed to providing equal

The DBE participation target for this project is 10 percent.
Forthis reason, the Port is requesting bidders’ good faith
efforts as defined in ORS 200-045(3) in achieving in­
creased DBE participation. In this effort, the Port is
requiring bidders to provide, by 5 p.m. of the next working
day following bid opening, information concerning their
efforts to include DBE subcontractors in the bidding
process.

contractors upon request. The profiles identify pertinent
vendor data which may assist prime contractors in provid­
ing subcontracting and supplier opportunities to DBEs in
specific areas as identified by the Port.
