Seventy-three (73) works days will be allowed for comple­
tion the project.
Plans and specifications may be obtained at the office of the
City Engineer, 858 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401, for
a non-refundable fee of $40.00.
Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s
check or bidder’s bond payable to the City of Eugene in an
amount equal to ten percent of the amount bid. Filing of a
qualification questionnaire before bidding will not be re­
quired Contingent or conditional bids will not be considered
for acceptance. No bid will be received orconsidered unless
the bid contains a statement by the bidder that provisions of
ORS 279.350 pertaining to prevailing wage rates shall be
complied with. The City reserves the right to reject any and
all bids and to waive defect in bidding to the interest of the

the Department of Human Resources of the State of
Oregon is preparing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a
regional hospital program serving individuals with severe
mental illness from Multnomah, Washington, and Clacka­

Metro solicits written proposals for a Moving Contractor for
Metro’s Relocation. Contractors need to contact Flor Matias

Proposals are due (postmarks not accepted) until 5;00 P.M.
PST, March 27, 1993 at Metro, 2000 S. W. First Avenue,

All proposals must be clearly marked “Proposal - Moving
Contractor" and contain all information required by the
written RFP available for this project. That RFP represents
the most definitive statement Metro will make and is avail­

Metro and its contractors will not discriminate against any

The Liaison Officer has determined that any subcontracting
pursuant to this project shall require specific good faith

The Unified Sewerage Agency of Washington County is
soliciting bids for Westside Light-Rail Sanitary Relocation.
Sealed bids must be delivered to the office of the Unified
Sewerage Agency, 155 N. First Avenue, Suite 270, Hillsboro,
Oregon, 97124, to the attention of Terry Chamberlin, Senior
Engineer, no later than 2;00 p.m., March 25,1993, at which
time they will be publicly opened and read at the same
location.
The work consists of construction of approximately 60 feet
of 12-inch sanitary sewer, 184 feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer,
84 feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer inside a steel casing, 3
manholes, 3 manholes over existing lines, and other miscel­
laneous appurtenances. This work shall be completed by
June 1,1993.
The Bid Book may be examined and obtained at the office
of the Unified Sewerage Agency, 155 North First Avenue,
Hillsboro, Oregon. The General Conditions and Standard
Specifications for the project may be examined and ob­
tained for a $25.00 nonrefundable fee at the office listed
above. Bidders requesting more than one Bid Book will be
charged $25.00 for each additional copy.
Bids must be made upon the bid forms found in the Contract
Documents, and must be accompanied by a certified or
cashier’s check, or bid bond payable to the Unified Sewer­
age Agency of Washington County in an amount not less
than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Each bidder
shall be registered with the Oregon Construction Contractor’s
Board (or licensed by the Oregon Landscape Contractor’s
Board).
No bid will be received orconsidered by the Unified Sewer­
age Agency unless the bid contains a statement by the
bidder that the provisions of ORS 279.350, regarding
prevailing wage rates, are to be complied with.
Each bid must contain a statement as to whether the bidder
is a resident bidder, as defined in ORS 279.029.
Bidders need not be licensed under ORS 468.883 (regard­
ing licensing of contractors on projects involving asbestos
abatement).
The Unified Sewerage Agency may reject any bid not in
compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures
and requirements and may reject for good cause any or all
bids upon a finding of the Unified Sewerage Agency that it
is in the public interest to do so.
