Public Notice
The State Of Oregon, Senior And Disabled Services Division is
issuing a Request For Qualifications (RFQ) of attorneys for
provision of legal services in guardianship, conservatorship,
and probate procedures.
The intent of this RFQ is to establish a list of qualified and
experienced attorneys capable of performing the legal work
necessary for the services listed above. A preferred provider list
will be developed of attorneys willing to accept referrals from the
division. There are a limited number of cases that will be referred
with the large majority in conservatorship and probate matters.
Response period closes at 5:00 PM, January 4, 1993. Inter­
ested parties may request further information or copies of the

The University of Oregon is requesting proposals from Construc­
tion Management/General Contracting firms interested in pro­
viding CM/GC services for the CHI East Campus Housing
project. Briefly, the project includes six new housing units and
associated site work on a site on Villard Street in the East
Campus area of Eugene.
The selection of the CM/GC will be made in accordance with
OAR 135-310-026 and will include interviews with finalists
selected on the basis of their written proposals.
The deadline for proposals is Thursday, December 17, 1992

Site and Exterior Improvements

Sealed bids will be received at the Housing Authority of Portland
(HAP), 8910 N. W oolsey Avenue, Portland, Oregon 97203, until
2:00 p.m., P.S.T., Tuesday, January 12, 1993, for labor and
materials to do site and exterior improvements at Schrunk
Riverview Tower and Hollywood East. Shortly thereafter, bids
will be opened and publicly read. Interested parties are welcome
to attend.
The basic work at Schrunk Riverview Tower consists of : site
lighting, elastomeric coating of 11 story building, new drainage
system for balconies and repair of exposed rebar, sealing of the
existing built-up roofing, entry cover, low masonry wall and
paving at Schrunk Tower. The work at Hollywood East consists
of: site lighting, new concrete garbage area and loading dock,
new metal roof over new garbage area, removal of some
planting areas, asphalt paving and patching, reroofing seven
small roof1 areas and chainlink fencing at Hollywood East.
Schrunk Riverview Tower is located at 8832 N. Syracuse Ave.,
Portland and Hollywood East is located at 4400 N.E. Broadway,
Portland, Oregon.
Interested bidders may obtain one set of bid documents at the
HAP Maintenance Office, noted above, upon receipt of $50 (Fifty
dollars) deposit, which is refundable when documents are
returned in good condition within 10 days after bid opening.
Additional sets may be acquired for a $20 (Twenty Dollar) non-
refundable fee.
A HAP representative will conduct a pre-bid tour of the project
commencing at Schrunk Riverview Tower, address above, at
10:00 a.m. P.S.T., Tuesday, December 22, 1992, and the
attendance of bidders is requested. An orientation will be given
prior to moving to the project site. Questions posed during the
tour, when not addressed in the Contract Documents, will be
answered by addendum and mailed to all plan holders.
Attention is called to provisions in “Supplemental Instructions to
Bidders” regarding MBE participation and Division "H” “Special
Conditions” , regarding Equal Employment Opportunity, EEO
compliance reports, certification of non-segregated facilities and
a waiver form enforcing the payment of non-federal prevailing
wages when said wages, exclusive of any fringe benefits,
exceeds the applicable wage rate determined by the Secretary
of HUD.
A bid security of 5% of the bid is required as prescribed in the j
"Instructions to Bidders”, Division B.

No bidder mçiy withdraw their bid after the hour set for opening
thereof until after the lapse of sixty (60) days from the bid
opening.
The Housing Authority of Portland may reject any bid not in
compliance with the prescribed bidding procedures and require­
ments and may reject any or all bids and waive all informalities
if, in the judgem ent of HAP, it is in the public interest to do so.
