Description of Work:
Drydocking; cleaning the hull; cleaning and painting screens
and seachests; cleaning, inspecting repairing, and testing
pumps and underwater valves; ultrasonic thickness survey;
and other work that may became apparent upon drydocking.

repairing, and testing additional pumps and underwater

You w ill design, code, test and implement new programs and support existing
systems in PC, UNIX* and IBM mainframe environments; you may also be
responsible for project leadership.
We require a BS and a minim um of 2 years’ experience for the Programmer
Analyst position or 4 years for the Senior level position, or 4 additional years
experience without a degree. Programming background must include PC devel­
opment, Windows SDK, C or C++, exposure to mainframe programming, basic
file access methods, structured design techniques and documentation. Exper­
ience on multiple hardware platforms is required (IBM, AS/400, UNIX and PC) as
well as experience in designing graphical user interfaces and relational databases

Request For Proposals
The Department of Revenue, Migration Project, is seeking a
firm to: 1) develop the Cash and Collection Tracking System
interfaces to an accounting system currently being constructed,
or 2) rewrite the systems and integrate them with the new
accounting system on an IBM AS/400. The accounting system
is being developed using an IBM AS/400 model E90, the Synon
Case tool and COBOL. The Cash and Collection Tracking
Systems currently operate on the Oregon Executive Depart­
ment Amdahl 5890-200E.
For each alternative, the departm ent desires a statement of 1)
user requirements, 2) hardware requirements and 3) contractor
costs to develop each alterative.
Upon Department of Revenue approval and acceptance of the
contractor proposal, the contractor will develop computer soft­
ware by July 1, 1993.
