The music world will get it s first taste of IMMATURE’S ‘tude with
“Tear It Up,” the debut single from ON OUR WORST BEHAVIOUR. The
song is also promintently featured in the new anim ated film “BeBe’s Kids”
by director Bruce Smith. “BeBe’s Kids” also features songs by Maxi Priest,
Aretha Franklin, Arrested Development, and The O’Jays. Marques plays
an important additional role in “BeBe’s Kids,” providing the voice for the
character Kalilil.
MARQUES; Bom in the group’s home town, Los Angeles, Marques
Houston (nicknamed “Batman ” by his bandmates) provides the emotional
lead vocals and raps which fuel the IMMATURE engine. Always quick to
speak his mind, the young artist doesn t hesitate to point out the differences
between IM MATURE and some of their colleagues.
DON: Born in the Phillipines (his full name is Don Fem ado Santos)
D on’s parents moved to the U.S. to seek a better future for their children.
Don - “Half Pint” to his crew - quickly grew to love the rap music of his new,
American homeland, and has since became the first Asian rapper to be
signed to a major record label.
JEROME: Another L. A. native, Jerome Jones joined IMMATURE
after Don and Marques watched him dominate a school talent show with
hisbassplayinganddancingstyle. Thedreadlocked Jerome(a.k.a. “Romeo”)
is the most assertive of the trio when it comes time to keep the adults in line.
Together, the three form a winning team. Unabashedly funky ON
OUR WORST BEHAVIOUR invites everyone to let their defenses down,
shake the bug out of their booty7, and get a little IMMATURE.
