said office publicly opened and read aloud.
Principal items of work include the following:
1. Schedule A W astewater Treatment Plant
Construction of an oxidation ditch, two secondary
clarifiers, pump building, plant drain lift station, ultra­
violet disinfection facility, sitework, approximately 950
feet of 15-inch diameter pipeline for overland portion
of outfall, conversion of an existing package treatment
unit to an aerobic digester and upgrading the Rock
Creek sewage pump station. W ork shall be complete
280 days after Notice to Proceed.
2. Schedule B Outfall
Construction of approximately 1,600 feet of 18-inch
diameter polyethylene pipe for a submerged outfall.
W ork shall be complete 180 days after Notice to
Proceed.
3. Schedule C Kanaka Pump Station
Modifications to an existing sewage pump station
including removal and replacement of duplex package
pump system, and construction of a garage for an
existing tractor mounted standby power generator.
W ork shall be complete 180 days after Notice to
Proceed. This portion is non EDA and CBDG spon­
sored work.
This project is funded in part by federal grants by the Economic
Development Administration (EDA) of the U.S. Department of
Commerce and a Community Block Development Grant (CBDG).
The EDA grant of $1,000,000 and CBDG of $500,000 together
represent approxim ately 60 percent of the total estimated project
cost. All work performed on this project will be subject to
prevailing Davis-Bacon Wage Rates or the Washington State
Department of Labor and Industries Wage Rate Decision, which­
ever is higher for each trade classification. The City of Stevenson
