in the Finance and Administration department.
The successful candidate will:

Reconcile profit/loss and general ledger accounts and subsid
iary ledgers.
•
Prepare tenant tax reports.
•
Reconcile bank accounts.
•
Prepare monthly statement of operations and budgets.
•
Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and audit.
Education and Experience preferred:
•
Course work or three to five years of accounting experience
including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and
general ledger.
•
Personal computer background using Lotus 1-2-3 helpful.
•
Demonstrated ability to work under time deadlines.
•
Demonstrated ability to work independently.
•
Demonstrated ability to work well with others.
In addition to a comprehensive benefit package, the Port offers a
starting salary of $22,608 - $28,295.

Job Requirements: Demonstrated knowledge, skill and experience in
collaboration, communication and organization; five years demon
strated leadership in community, private sector organizations, schools,
and/or professional development; three years successful experience
working in a leadership role in distressed urban communities; knowl
edge and experience in developing effective intergovernmental and
public/private sector relationships; excellent interpersonal and oral
and written communication skills; experience with project manage
ment and supervision Preferred: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
experience relevant to the position; knowledge and experience with
resource planning. Position requires travel within Multnomah County.
Salary Range: $30,000 to $37,000 plus excellent employer-paid
benefit package.
