Plans and specifications may be examined at the office of the
Engineering Department, City of Forest Grove Administrative
Building, 1924 Council Street, P.O. Box 326, Forest Grove, OR
97116. A copy of said documents may be obtained at the above
location/address upon paym ent of a $25.00 non-refundable fee.
The non-refundable fee will be $30.00 if requested by mail.
Each proposal must be submitted on the prescribed form and
accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the City
of Forest Grove, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the
amount bid. No bids will be received or considered unless the
proposal is properly completed and signed.
The successful bidder will be required to furnish both a Perfor
mance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each
(separately) in the full amount of the Contract price.
This project is co-finance through the Community Development
Block Grant Program with funds obtained from the U.S. Depart
ment of Housing and Urban Development and through the City
of Forest Grove with budgeted City funds. The contract will be
subject to regulations of the Departments of Labor and Housing
and Urban Development.

Opportunity, HUD Section 3 Requirements, and the minimum
wages as set forth in the contract documents.

The Housing’ Authority Of the city of Vancouver will receive-bids
for the "Addition to Administration Building” until 2 :0 0 p.m. Pacific
Daylight Time on the tenth (1 Oth) day of July, 1992 at 500 Omaha
Way, Vancouver W ashington 98661 at which time and place all
bids will be Publicly opened and read aloud.
Proposed forms of contract documents, including plans and speci
fications, are on file at the office of The Housing Authority of the City
of Vancouver at 500 Omaha Way, Vancouver, W ashington 98661
and it the office of Construction Data - Eastside, Portland; Con

Copies of the documents may be obtained by depositing $100 with
the Housing, Authority of the City of Vancouver for each set of

amount equal to five percent of the bid shall be submitted, with

satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds.

a. Retainage is 10 percent not 5 percent,

c. Bonds or securities may not be substituted as an alternate

The Housing Authority of the City of Vancouver reserves the right
to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days subsequent to the
