Central Utility Plant Expansion
Sealed bids for the Portland International Airport, Central Utility
Plant Expansion, will be received at the office of the Manager,
Contracts and Procurement, of The Port of Portland, 700 N. E.
Multnomah Street, 15th floor, Portland, Oregon, (mailing ad­
dress: Post Office Box 3529, Portland, Oregon 97208) until, but
not after, 2 p.m. May 26, 1992, and thereafter publicly opened
and read.
Description of Work:
Construction of an addition to the Central Utility Plant Building of
approximately 1625 square feet., addition of approximately 1925
square feet of open courtyard, installation of two Port-furnished
500-ton water chillers, cooling towers, conversion of the existing
constant-flow system to variable flow with two secondary loops,
modification to coil control valves, and upgrading the existing
energy management HVAC control system.
A prebid conference will be held on Thursday, May 14,1992, at
2 p.m. at the Portland International Airport Maintenance Facility,
7111 N. E. Alderwood Road, Portland, Oregon, to discuss all
phases of the work.

Bids must be on the bid form which will be provided to prospective
bidders and must be accompanied by a certified or cashier’s
check drawn on a United States bank or a bid bond payable to

ries:
Building Construction - Steel, Concrete, Masonry Composite or
Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning Systems, or Mechanical
Piping - Sewer, Water, Steam, Compressed Air, Natural Gas,
Fuels, Oxygen for Utility Distribution.
Prequlification application must be submitted not later than 5
business days prior to the bid opening date.

registered with the State of Oregon Construction Contractors

A license under ORS 468A. 720 is required for work involving
