The Port of Portland has an immediate opening for an Inspector II,
Electrical in the Construction Engineering department to provide elec­
trical, technical, and inspection skills for the construction of new and
refurbished facilities, or the rebuilding of existing facilities.
Minimum Requirements
• Unlimited Supervisor’s license (State of Oregon).
• Level “ A" Electrical Inspector’s License.
• Valid driver’s license OR ability to obtain a license within 60 days.
Education and Experience Preferred
• Experience as an electrical inspector which includes inspection of
special equipment and machinery which has not been listed by a
testing laboratory.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical engineering, construction of
electrical work, their terminology, and standard practices.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the city, state, and national electncal
codes.
• Practical experience in commercial and industrial building con­
struction methods, industrial electrical equipment, machinery, and
their code requirements.
In addition to a starting salary of $32,707 to $37,690 commensurate
