Contractor for this work shall furnish all labor at current State of
Oregon prevailing wage rates, m aterials and equipm ent and
services of all kinds to com plete the work in accordance with the
plans and specifications therefor.
Plans and specifications may be exam ined at the office of the
Gresham City Engineer, 1333 N.W. Eastman Parkway, Gresham,
Oregon. Copies of said plans and specifications may be obtained
upon application to the City Engineer and by posting a non-re-
fundable fee of $25.00 with the City Engineer for each set of plans
and specifications requested.
Contractors must prequalify for construction with the City of
Gresham, as required by the laws of the State of Oregon, before
the date of a bid opening. Otherwise, their proposal may not be
given consideration.
All proposals must be submitted on the regular forms furnished by
the City of Gresham, addressed and mailed or delivered to the
Engineering Division, City of Gresham, in a sealed envelope

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The Metropolitan Service District (Metro) is requesting proposals
for Reprocessing of Latex Paint Collected at Metro Permanent
Household Hazardous W aste Collection Facilities (RFP# 9 1 R-
32-SW ). Copies of the proposal Documents can be obtained by
contacting Metro Solid W aste Departm ent at 221-1646.
Proposals must be delivered to the Solid W aste Department,
Metropolitan Service District, 2000 SW First Avenue, Portland,
OR 97201 -5398, to the attention of Jim Quinn, Hazardous W aste
Specialist, no later than 3:00 p.m. PDT on September 9, 1991.
Each Proposal must contain a statem ent as to whether the Pro­
poser is a resident Proposer, as defined in ORS 279.029.
Metro seeks proposals from qualified vendors to: 1) reprocess
recycled latex paint, or 2) reprocess and distribute recycled latex
paint. The goal of this project is to produce a marketable recycled
latex paint from the old latex paint Metro collects at its two facili­
ties.
An optional pre-proposal conference will be held at 2:00 p.m.
PDT on Monday, August 19,1991, at Metro Center, in the Coun­
cil Chamber, 2000 SW First Avenue, Portland. Questions about
the RFP will be answered, and possible addenda to the RFP will
be issued based on the results of this conference.
Metro may reject for good cause any or all Proposals upon a find­
ing of the agency it is in the public interest to do so.
