MOS, DEF vocalist and rap artist,
Ron Steen
Kelvin Woods, is from N.E. Portland.
Woods wants very much to persue an
entertainment career. MOS, DEF is
seeking exposure locally and has a
focus on their community being aware
of their style of rap. “ Just clean rap,”
explains Kelvin Woods, “ with the old
school format and the new school beat.”
MOS, DEF also features two dancers,
Nancy Allen and Shawn Pitts. Band
members have changed three times in
the last eight years; former members
were: Larry Bell & Kevin Morse (U-
Krew) and Eric (EZMC) Smith Krowd
Kontrol. Kelvin knows music like Bo
know sports. Kelvin has been in the
music business for thirteen years. If
he’s in your neighborhood, check him

sound of joy. The sound of pain. The sound of
love. A sound made stirringly beautiful by
African American music makers throughout
our history.
This Black Music Month, Burger King wants
to take the opportunity to thank these musi
cians for their magnificent contributions to our
national culture.
So Burger King is sponsoring a special
