The Planning and Development of the Metropolitan Service District (METRO) is
requesting proposals for digitizing the Soil Conservation Service (SCS) Soil Survey
maps for Clackamas and Multnomah Counties, Oregon. Soil polygon lines, open
water boundaries, and survey boundaries will be digitized and each polygon will be
labeled. Each map sheet will be edge-matched with adjoining sections to form a 7.5'
quadrant map unit.

publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 PM, May 30,1991, in the

The Contract Documents may be examined at The Amundson
Associates, Springfield; OIT Physical Plant, Klamath Falls; Build­
ers exchanges in Medford, Klamath falls, Eugene, Portland,
Bend, Roseburg, and Salem.
Briefly, the Work includes the drilling, casing, and testing of a 10
inch diameter, 1,675 feet deep geothermal reinjection well on the
Oregon Institute of Technology campus. One set of contract
documents may be obtained by prime bidders only from the
Amundson associates, 200 South Mill Street, Springfield, Oregon
97477, upon deposit of $50.00, additional sets may be obtained
for the cost of reproduction (Non-refundable).
Deposits will be refunded for documents returned in good condi­
tion by actual bidders within two weeks after opening bids.
No bid will be considered unless fully completed in the manner
provided in the “ Instruction to Bidders" upon the bid Form
provided, and accompanied by Bid Security.
All Bidders must comply with ORS 279.350 relating to prevailing
rates of wage and ORS 279.029 relating to resident or non-resi­
dent status, and affirmative action requirements outlined in Divi­
sion SB. Certification of compliance with affirmative action re­
quirements must be submitted with each bid.
