Ullyesses Tucker, Jr., Portland Observer colummist/television producer
for KA TU-TV2 and Lavem Davis present Christmas gifts to a surprised
group of students. The money for the gifts was made possible by
Friends of Ullysses ", sho wanted to help needy families but remain
unidentified. Tucker and Davis, the principal at Martin Luther King
Elementary School, puurachased ten toys, five coats, and two Safeway
gift certificates for the families in need.

Loop (Tubamn), and Joshua Loop (King). Front row: Hennisha "T"
Dizer (King) and Patrick Loop (King). Not all of the students were able
to attend the spontaneous gathering held at King School, but Davis
hand delivered them later that day.
